Amazing chemistry. There aren't two better words to describe these two. Who doesn't like shooting couples that are madly in love. That can't keep there hands to themselves. That have sparkly eyes when they gaze at each other. THAT is Angela and Jason. Talk about couple goals!

I first "met" Angela a couple of years ago, but never got to know her. After our photo session, I can definitely say that not only is she obviously gorgeous, she has such a cute, bubbly personality. And Jason, he was just very easy going and super laid back. Their fur baby, Theo, was full of energy and oh so cute and cuddly. Together, they were simply irresistible.

Laughter is the language of the soul, and I think we can all say that we did lots of that on this breezy, warm evening. I had so much fun with you guys and hope that y'all dig the way your love looks on camera as much as I do.

Dr. Joann Lam, PharmD

Myriad Botanical Gardens - Oklahoma City, OK

As Joann walked up to meet me, the first thing that I clearly remember was when she flashed me her smile. She had a gorgeous smile, beautiful face, perfect hair, and to top it off, brains. Joann was a graduate from Southwestern Oklahoma State University earning a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Wow, how awesome is that?! Dr. Joann Lam has such a great ring to it, doesn't it?

Not only was she so easy to work with, she made my job effortless. And although it was miserably hot outside, she rocked it in every outfit she put on even when she was layered up in her cap and gown. Kovu, her Shiba Inu pup, was also a joy to photograph, and getting him to "sit, stay and smile" at the camera was the highlight of our evening.

Congratulations again, Dr. Lam, on your awesome achievement! You were such a pleasure to work with, and I hope you love your photos just as much as I do!

The Le's Family Session

Oklahoma City, OK

Chynne + Fam-36.jpg

I can't believe that Christmas is just around the corner, and what's so crazy is that it was in the mid 60's on this day that I took photos of the Le's... in December! I'm not complaining though, I'll take that weather any day.

We really couldn’t have asked for better light, and I give all the kudos to Chynne for putting together such a great wardrobe combination for her family. My first reaction when I saw these boys in their outfits... heart eyes! Not only were they so stinking cute, their playfulness was so contagious.  This session consisted of lots of tickles, laughs and giggles. And I just couldn't get enough.

Overall, my photographer heart couldn’t have been any happier!! I hope you enjoy some of my favorite highlights from this adorable family session!

The Vanraamsdonk's Family Session

Oklahoma City, OK

Shalatha + family-3.jpg

Fall is my favorite time of the year because the weather tends to be cooler. Something about taking a deep breath in and inhaling the crisp, cool air makes me feel at ease. The colors of trees, crunch of the leaves, and pumpkin flavored everything just gets me in the greatest moods.

I had the pleasure of taking family photos for the Vanraamsdonk's on this cool, autumn day, and it was so much fun! Not only were they out-going, they were so relaxed and made what I do effortless. The session was at Will Rogers Park which was filled with beautiful, colorful leaves, and the lighting was just right.

It's a great day when every photo is a favorite. Hope you guys love these images as much as I do!

Payne's Maternity Session

Oklahoma City

Some people are under the impression that being in the hospital on bed rest is like a staycation because food is delivered to your bedside at every meal, and it's cleaned up after you're done eating. Because someone comes in to check on you and keeps your room clean. That you don't have to worry about everything else happening in the world around you. Little do they know that it makes you emotional, vulnerable and probably irritable. And imagine trying to sleep alone with weird noises, lights and nurses constantly waking you up. Now imagine day in and day out like this for weeks and weeks. Doesn't sound fun, right? I've never been in that situation, but I can only imagine what was running through her head.

Payne was such a trooper through it all. I visited her when she was there, and although it wasn't me being bedridden, I couldn't help but be overwhelmed with all types of emotions especially because this was her first pregnancy. But long story short, she pulled through it all. She is THE real MVP.

This time around with her second pregnancy, she gets to spend every bit of it indulging on everything her heart desires in the comfort of her own home. Her first born, Easton, is the cutest, happiest baby EVER, and I had the opportunity to photography the two of them (3 including Baby Emery in her belly) recently. We joked and laughed through the whole session, and I couldn't stop gushing over how pretty she was and that pregnancy glow was EVERYTHING. Because she missed out on maternity photos with her first pregnancy, I wanted to make this one special.

I hope you had just as much fun as I did. XOXO
