Some people are under the impression that being in the hospital on bed rest is like a staycation because food is delivered to your bedside at every meal, and it's cleaned up after you're done eating. Because someone comes in to check on you and keeps your room clean. That you don't have to worry about everything else happening in the world around you. Little do they know that it makes you emotional, vulnerable and probably irritable. And imagine trying to sleep alone with weird noises, lights and nurses constantly waking you up. Now imagine day in and day out like this for weeks and weeks. Doesn't sound fun, right? I've never been in that situation, but I can only imagine what was running through her head.
Payne was such a trooper through it all. I visited her when she was there, and although it wasn't me being bedridden, I couldn't help but be overwhelmed with all types of emotions especially because this was her first pregnancy. But long story short, she pulled through it all. She is THE real MVP.
This time around with her second pregnancy, she gets to spend every bit of it indulging on everything her heart desires in the comfort of her own home. Her first born, Easton, is the cutest, happiest baby EVER, and I had the opportunity to photography the two of them (3 including Baby Emery in her belly) recently. We joked and laughed through the whole session, and I couldn't stop gushing over how pretty she was and that pregnancy glow was EVERYTHING. Because she missed out on maternity photos with her first pregnancy, I wanted to make this one special.
I hope you had just as much fun as I did. XOXO
